About the role
Position Summary
The Shared Services Accounting Support role provides administrative and accounting support across Truck Zone. This position assists the Controller and accounting team with transaction processing, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.
This is a support-focused, execution-oriented role and does not include financial oversight, reporting ownership, or decision-making authority. All financial review, approval, and accounting judgment remain with the Controller.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including documentation, account updates, and transaction assistance
- Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation for review as part of month-end and year-end processes
- Assist with payroll-related accounting support
- Administer company fuel card programs, including setup, tracking, and record maintenance
- Maintain fixed asset records and assist with tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Support banking and recurring payment tracking, including preparation of reconciliations for review
- Monitor system reports, maintain organized records, and identify discrepancies for escalation
What You Bring
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, process-driven environment
- Experience in accounting support or financial administration (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- A collaborative, execution-focused approach with a commitment to accuracy
