Hybrid Account and Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hybrid Account and Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful delivery of digital projects within Techsys Digital. As an Account and Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various digital initiatives. Your exceptional project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders will be instrumental in driving project success.
Responsibilities • Develop comprehensive project plans and budgets, defining scope, timelines, and resource requirements. • Lead and manage project teams, delegating tasks, and setting clear deadlines to ensure effective project execution. • Collaborate closely with clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into actionable project plans aligned with their goals. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and subject matter experts, to facilitate seamless project workflows. • Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks or deviations, and proactively make necessary adjustments to ensure on-time delivery. • Utilize project management software to track project progress, budgets, and resource allocation efficiently. • Assess and manage project risks and issues, developing contingency plans to minimize disruptions. • Provide regular updates on project status and progress to stakeholders, including delivering insightful presentations and recommendations to senior leadership. • Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards and align with the project's objectives. • Successfully manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining excellent attention to detail and prioritization skills. • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, fostering innovation to identify opportunities for process improvement. • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures. • Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow team members, fostering growth and development through knowledge sharing.
Client & Account Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. • Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships. • Understand client goals and translate them into actionable strategies. • Lead regular client meetings, reporting, and performance reviews. • Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities. • Manage account budgets, forecasting, and profitability. • Contribute to new business pitches and proposals. • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability. • Support agency leadership with operational and strategic initiatives.
Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience. • 3–5 years of agency experience in a hybrid role. • Proven track record of successfully managing digital projects from conception to delivery. • Experience managing website, app, mobile campaigns (USSD, SMS, and WhatsApp lines) and system builds with a team of developers. • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. • Proficient in using project management tools and software to efficiently track and manage projects. • Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to adapt and handle dynamic project environments. • In-depth understanding of digital technologies and industry best practices. • Experience with AI would be advantageous. • Applicants must hold valid South African passports or work permits.
