Accounts Officer: Costing

INTRODUCTION:

Komatsu South Africa has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Officer: Costing to join the Finance Department at our Head Office, Germiston. The preferred candidate should have a BTech in Costing Accounting / 3-year Financial Diploma and a minimum of 4 years' experience in cost accounting and sound understanding of work in progress.

QUALIFICATION:

• 3 Year Financial Diploma / B. Tech in Cost Accounting

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in cost accounting, general accounting and sound understanding of work in progress.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• SAP BI
• Microsoft Applications - Word, Excel & Powerpoint
• Promotion of Access to Information Act no. 2 (2000)
• National Credit Act (no. 34 of 2005)
• Companies Administrative Regulations
• King Code of Corporate Governance
• Companies Act (applicable to role)
• Value-Added Tax Act, 1991 (Act No. 89 of 1991)
