Accounts Payable Specialist (Part-Time)

We're seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to support our client's busy finance team in Parkesburg, PA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping financial processes organized, accurate, and on schedule while also supporting broader accounting operations as needed. You'll play an important part in invoice processing, payments, record-keeping, and day-to-day finance support, helping maintain smooth internal operations and reliable financial reporting.

Required Skills

  • Accounts payable experience, including invoice processing and payment support
  • Working knowledge of accounts receivable and basic banking procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work collaboratively and solve problems effectively
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Ability to learn new systems and internal software quickly

Nice To Have Skills

  • Experience with expense reimbursements and purchase card administration
  • Familiarity with deposits, ACH transfers, and cash handling
  • Exposure to general ledger close support or reconciliations
  • Experience working in a transportation, logistics, or fast-paced business environment
  • Familiarity with CSI Road or similar accounting software

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience (2 years) preferred
  • Background supporting accounts payable, cash management, or general finance functions preferred

Other Requirements

  • Pay: $22/hour
  • This is an on-site position in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania
  • Length of Assignment: Temporary
  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in the office from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Must be comfortable handling confidential financial information with care and professionalism
