As an Accounts Receivable Cash Accountant, you will play a vital role in our fast-paced environment, supporting high-volume cash operations. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of cash application and reconciliations across multiple revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Cash Management & Reconciliation
- Conduct daily cash postings across multiple entities and bank accounts.
- Monitor cash balances and address discrepancies or unusual transactions.
- Assist Treasury with daily cash position reporting and liquidity insights.
- Execute high-volume bank reconciliations across 40+ accounts each month.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including outstanding items and adjustments.
Month-End Close
- Manage cash-related journal entries including bank fees and adjustments.
- Support variance analysis and clarify cash movement and timing differences.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies in all cash transactions.
High-Volume Transaction Management
- Handle large datasets of transactions across various platforms (ERP, billing, and payment systems).
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of cash postings in a high-throughput environment.
- Monitor cash clearing accounts for discrepancies.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify and implement efficiencies for cash processes to enhance scalability and accuracy.
- Support the development of tools and workflows to accommodate increasing transaction volumes.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for all cash activities.
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Treasury, A/R, and A/P teams to address discrepancies in receipts and disbursements.
- Collaborate with Revenue Accounting for accurate transaction allocation.
- Communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in cash accounting or accounts receivable within high-volume environments.
- Experience managing large transactional datasets and various payment channels.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, ideally NetSuite.
- Familiarity with payment processors and accounts payable systems, preferably Coupa.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Experience with automation tools or systems integration is an advantage.
- Strong critical thinking skills and innovative problem-solving ability.

The estimated total cash compensation for this role ranges from $72,000 to $85,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
