Accounts Receivable Clerk

About This Role

Synergy Search is partnering with a fast-growing company headquartered in Howard County MD. This is a hands-on AR role with full ownership of the invoicing cycle and direct visibility into leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full customer invoicing cycle, including prepay, progress billing, & final invoices
• Manage AR aging reports & handle collections follow-up with customers
• Maintain accurate records & support process improvements using QuickBooks & Excel
• Cross-train on accounts payable functions as needed
• Collaborate closely with a small, communicative accounting team

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end accounts receivable, including invoicing & collections
• AA/BS degree in a related field
• Proficient in Excel (formulas, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation)
• Construction experience preferred but not required
• Strong communicator who is comfortable asking questions & working in a collaborative environment
• Must be comfortable working 100% in-office
