About the Project
Focus is our vendor product (cards product commercial). Nice Actimize is the company which makes this product, named Actone (leading risk case manager). It is used for case management in the financial space, used in banks as a financial crime tool to process their alerts from various systems and interact with the central treasury department. They have 2 products (Actone and STAR), both are Java-related web applications. The main focus will be BAU (Business As Usual), enhancement, and some customization.
This team is divided into 2 streams: one is DataStream (works with ETL) and another is the core app team, which has an offshore team. We are looking to add 2 resources onsite, so overall the team consists of 12 members.

- This role is 50% support, 30% configuration, and 20% development

Responsibilities
- Validate draft metrics with domain owners to ensure they drive intended impact and business value.
- Define and document authoritative data sources and calculation logic for in-scope metrics to ensure consistency and trust.
- Support metric lifecycle management, ensuring metrics are clearly owned, governed, and maintained over time.
- Evaluate the readiness of metrics by verifying ownership, source integrity, and analytical soundness before they are implemented by engineering.
- Help guide insights and recommendations derived from the developed metrics.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risk areas in metric definitions that could lead to downstream rework or misinterpretation.
- Enable scale and reuse by establishing repeatable patterns for metric definition, validation, and analysis across domains.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related field (not including any internships).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python.
- Tools: Expert experience with visualization tools (AWS Quicksight) and proficiency in cloud-based data warehouses (AWS). Proficiency in Google Workspace (advanced Sheets, Drive, Docs).
- Ownership: Demonstrated ability to take independent initiative and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Proven ability to establish and maintain clear communication channels with diverse stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to build relationships to effectively validate metrics and manage ongoing data needs.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to bridge data findings with program strategy to drive desired outcomes.
