About the role
Our client is seeking a motivated and analytical Actuarial Analyst to join their growing team. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining actuarial models, performing complex data analysis, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making within the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of actuarial principles, statistical modeling, and programming skills relevant to data analysis. You will work closely with underwriters, product developers, and finance teams to assess risks, price insurance products, and manage financial reserves. Key responsibilities include building and validating predictive models, analyzing claims data, forecasting financial outcomes, and preparing actuarial reports. You will also contribute to the development of new insurance products and the enhancement of existing ones. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent quantitative skills, and the ability to interpret complex data sets. Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL is highly desirable.
