About The Company And Opportunity

  • Our client is a non-profit in DC that is focused on providing food to those in need.
  • Due to a project, they are hiring a temporary Admin/Accounting Assistant to work hybrid (3 in, 2 out). Laptop is provided.
  • Schedule: M-F, 9a-5p
  • Duration: approx. 2 months
  • Pay: $25-27/hr

Overview Of The Admin/Accounting Assistant Role

  • Open and scan finance mail and distribute to the appropriate team member
  • Coordinate logistics for on-site meetings (catering, table/chair arrangements, admitting visitors, AC support, take notes on action items, etc.)
  • Calendar management for finance leadership
  • Schedule meetings with outside parties
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Assist with entering invoices (AP) and getting approvals

Preferred Qualifications For The Admin/Accounting Assistant

  • 3+ years of administrative experience
  • Experience with Chrome River is a plus
  • MS Office experience is must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
