Freight Breakers provides managed labor services to support warehouse, distribution centers, and cross dock operations. We are a North Carolina based company with operations from Pennsylvania to Texas. With onsite leadership and a production-minded labor force, we provide our customers with site-centric solutions to high touch manual processes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and source quality and diverse candidates through multiple venues such as job boards, industry-specific sites, college and university campus job fairs and contacts, social media outlets, and other sourcing means.
  • Assist with the development of job descriptions if needed and create and post all open positions.
  • Interview with candidates to evaluate their technical qualifications for assignments through phone and in-person interviews.
  • Hire qualified candidates for the Branch Operations after completing pre-employment tests, drug screens, applicant background checks, and obtaining required documentation.
  • Build professional relationships with customers, employees, and staff.
  • Maintain employee files and paperwork.
  • Assist with data entry and payroll.

Job Requirements

  • 0-5 years of experience in staffing or recruitment. Entry level are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) products.
  • Excellent research and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible work schedule.
