Adobe Backend Developer

About

Our client, a global IT Services and Consulting company are currently hiring for an Adobe Backend Developer to work as an embedded resource on a client's team.

Responsibilities

• Implement solutions leveraging Adobe AEM product suite
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Analyse business requirements and create Technical Design documents that are in accordance with the company's architecture standards
• Demonstrates strong understanding of the business needs driving the projects
• Test Driven Development and Delivery with high quality standards as per organisation's quality benchmark
• Accountability for the assigned tasks with proper documentation of Unit Testing evidences in the tracker tools (JIRA) ensuring Definition of Done (DOD) is met

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in AEM and Digital platform
• Experience in Sightly Framework (HTML Template Language) and AEM Core Concepts like Sling Models, Felix Console, Workflow, Closed User Groups etc.
• Experience in Java/J2EE. Hands on experience in Integration with strong foundation in Java core concepts and Servlets
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with modern development practices, the software development life cycle and Agile Methodologies
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and produce quality results under pressure

Contract Details

This is an immediate start Independent Contractor role and is 100% home based and can be based anywhere in Europe. The contract will run for an initial 9 month period with the potential to extend to 18 months.
