Job Overview

We are looking for a Adobe Experience Platform AEP Lead Engineer for our client in Alpharetta, GA.

Requirements/Must Have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in digital experience platforms required.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of hands-on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) development experience required.
• Strong experience with AEP CDP, AJO, and CJO required.
• Expertise in Adobe Experience Platform implementation and solution architecture required.
• Strong knowledge of XDM Schema Design and data modeling required.
• Experience with data engineering and ETL pipelines required.
• Strong SQL scripting and data analysis skills required.
• Experience with segmentation, identity management, profile stitching, and customer journey orchestration required.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML required.
• Expertise in Adobe Launch and Web SDK required.
• Experience integrating AEP with Adobe Experience Cloud products and third-party systems required.
• Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and DPDP Act compliance required.
• Experience with Agile methodologies required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end implementation, design, development, and deployment of Adobe Experience Platform solutions including Real-Time CDP, Journey Orchestration, and Customer AI.
• Define and implement customer data strategies for segmentation, personalization, and activation across channels.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align AEP capabilities with marketing, analytics, and customer experience goals.
• Develop scalable and secure data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and activating customer data.
• Design and implement XDM schemas and ensure data governance and compliance standards.
• Integrate AEP with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe CJA, Adobe Campaign, CRMs, DMPs, and cloud data warehouses.
• Provide technical leadership on Customer Data Platforms and Data Management Platforms.
• Conduct training sessions and create technical documentation for end users and stakeholders.
• Provide expertise on APIs and integration strategies to achieve business outcomes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and security.
• Stay up to date on AEP product enhancements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and data science teams to improve customer experiences.
• Analyze data trends and provide business intelligence recommendations.

Should Have:

• Adobe Certified Expert in Adobe Experience Platform or AJO preferred.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK and Mobile SDK preferred.
• Knowledge of Adobe Journey Optimizer and Customer AI preferred.
• Exposure to marketing automation platforms and Customer Data Platforms preferred.
• Experience with public cloud providers preferred.
• Experience with AI-powered coding assistants, such as GitHub Copilot, preferred.

Skills:

• Strong API integration and RESTful service development skills required.
• Experience with Platform APIs, Streaming Ingestion APIs, and AJO APIs required.
• Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and service credential authentication required.
• Hands-on experience with JSON and JSON schema design required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills required.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives independently required.
