Responsibilities: Design and develop robotic system architectures, considering mechanical, electrical, and software components. Implement and refine control algorithms for robotic manipulators, mobile platforms, and other automated systems. Develop and integrate sensor systems (vision, lidar, force sensors) for perception and navigation. Write, test, and debug embedded software for real-time operation using C/C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System). Perform system-level integration and testing of robotic hardware and software components. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in robotic systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical designers, electrical engineers, and software developers, in a remote setting. Document system designs, algorithms, and test procedures thoroughly. Stay current with the latest advancements in robotics, AI, computer vision, and control theory. Contribute to the planning and execution of R&D projects in advanced robotics. Develop simulation environments for testing and validating robotic behaviors. Manage project tasks and deliverables effectively in a remote work environment. Qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a specialization in robotics. 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and programming robotic systems. Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages. Strong experience with ROS (Robot Operating System). Solid understanding of control systems theory, kinematics, dynamics, and path planning. Experience with sensor integration (cameras, IMUs, lidar) and computer vision techniques. Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time operating systems. Experience with simulation tools like Gazebo or MuJoCo. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver results in a remote setup.
