Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop a pipeline of new business through outbound calls, emails, social selling, and networking
  • Consult with clients to understand their marketing goals and recommend tailored digital advertising solutions (display, paid search, social, programmatic, video, email, etc.)
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through negotiation and close
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and agency partners
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Collaborate with account management, creative, and marketing teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery
  • Stay current on digital advertising trends, competitor offerings, and platform updates
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM
  • Present proposals and media plans to clients ranging from small businesses to enterprise accounts

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly within marketing or advertising sales environments
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively articulate complex concepts and build rapport with clients
  • Demonstrated ability in business development and account management strategies
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, advertising platforms, and technical sales processes is highly desirable
  • Ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and develop strategic approaches for growth
  • Leadership qualities with the motivation to drive results independently while collaborating effectively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to local, regional, or national advertisers or ad agencies
  • Familiarity with ad tech platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, DSPs, etc.)
  • Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
