Enhance technical documentation for military aircraft as an Aerospace Technical Writer. Create, revise, and validate technical publications tailored for the Department of National Defence's main fleets.
In this critical role, you will report to the Electronic Publications Manager and engage with various stakeholders, including subject matter experts and the e-Pubs team. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical documents, while supporting clients in using electronic manuals. Collaboration is key as you manage interface with multimedia professionals and maintain high standards in all publications.
Responsibilities
- Research and write detailed technical publications
- Collaborate with SMEs to gather and define content
- Integrate aircraft modifications into electronic manuals
- Prepare and validate technical documentation
- Support clients in using various electronic manuals
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in technical publications
- Strong background in aeronautics and engineering drawings
- In-depth knowledge of ATA-2200 and S1000D specifications
- Experience with Arbortext Epic Editor necessary
- Proficiency in English and basic French required
