Akkodis is seeking an Aerospace Technical Writer for a 8+ Contract position with a client located in Harleysville, PA

Pay Range: $45/hr - $50/hr (The rate may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Responsibilities

• Interacting with aerospace engineers and technicians to gather information about processes and technology
• Translating complex technical information into clear, concise and user-friendly documents for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Designing, writing, and editing technical and process documentation
• Maintaining a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
• Analyzing documents to maintain continuity of style of content
• Managing updates and revisions to technical literature
• Reviewing and verifying technical information
• Creating visual aids like diagrams, charts, and graphs to better explain complex technical information
• Ensuring compliance with industry and company documentation standards
• Data Analysis and Summary of results, Report generation, Data review and consolidation into easily interpretable formats.
• Experience in Test Procedure writing and Results summarization for aerospace industries
• Electrical and digital testing experience is nice to have to understand the procedures and testing context.
• Modify and review existing documentation through a change control board process.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Technical associate’s degree and 2-3 yrs experience.
