About the role

A specialist in valves and actuation solutions is looking for a driven Territory Sales Engineer to grow business across mining operations in French-speaking Africa.

This is not an order-taking role — it’s for a proactive, strategic sales professional who can identify opportunities, engage decision-makers, and drive deals from first contact through to close.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in technical sales
  • Proven exposure to mining environments (Africa experience advantageous)
  • Experience selling valves, actuators, or flow control solutions
  • Strong external sales / business development mindset
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel internationally

Job Experience & Skills Required

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the territory
  • Research target clients and engage key decision-makers
  • Drive the full sales process from prospecting to closing
  • Present tailored technical solutions aligned to customer needs
  • Manage and overcome sales blockers proactively
  • Build strong, long-term relationships within mining operations
  • French language ability will be advantageous.
