About the role
A specialist in valves and actuation solutions is looking for a driven Territory Sales Engineer to grow business across mining operations in French-speaking Africa.
This is not an order-taking role — it’s for a proactive, strategic sales professional who can identify opportunities, engage decision-makers, and drive deals from first contact through to close.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in technical sales
- Proven exposure to mining environments (Africa experience advantageous)
- Experience selling valves, actuators, or flow control solutions
- Strong external sales / business development mindset
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel internationally
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the territory
- Research target clients and engage key decision-makers
- Drive the full sales process from prospecting to closing
- Present tailored technical solutions aligned to customer needs
- Manage and overcome sales blockers proactively
- Build strong, long-term relationships within mining operations
- French language ability will be advantageous.
