Responsibilities

  • You will independently prepare quotations based on customer inquiries, including both technical clarification and commercial evaluation.
  • A central part of your role involves developing tailored technical solutions and advising customers on appropriate services and spare parts, taking into account the full product lifecycle.
  • You will lead negotiations through to successful contract closure and take full ownership of project execution—from order intake to final delivery—ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • This includes coordinating the entire supply chain, covering procurement, supplier management, logistics, invoicing, and collection processes.
  • You will be responsible for obtaining and evaluating supplier quotations, assessing factors such as price, quality, delivery timelines, and documentation.
  • Monitoring supplier performance, including quality assurance and delivery reliability, is also a key aspect.
  • Additionally, you will collaborate with internal technical teams to develop recommended spare parts lists for new installations and ensure on-time delivery to the final destination.
  • The role includes occasional international travel.

Qualifications

  • You bring a technical background complemented by commercial training (e.g., Technical Business Specialist or HF Technician) and have at least 10 years of experience in spare parts or service business within an industrial or technical environment.

Required Skills

  • You possess strong expertise in supply chain processes and international procurement, combined with a broad technical understanding and a pronounced customer- and service-oriented mindset.
  • You work independently, proactively, and with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Your profile is complemented by strong communication and negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a confident professional presence.
  • You are experienced with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and proficient in MS Office.
  • Fluency in German and English is required, with additional languages considered an advantage.
