In this role you will design and integrate conveyor and sortation solutions for parcel and tote applications, coordinating with controls, software, and project teams. You will refine customer scopes, create drawings, and drive cost-driven proposals for aftermarket opportunities. Expect fieldwork up to 20% travel, ongoing collaboration, and a focus on delivering end-to-end material handling systems that meet customer needs and company standards. You will help advance continuous improvement initiatives and support multi-project execution.

Responsibilities

• Refine scope of work from customer or sales to meet requirements
• Design and enhance conveyor systems including receiving, shipping, picking, packing, routing, and buffering subsystems
• Ensure compliance with engineering principles, standards, and customer requirements
• Coordinate technical developments, scheduling, and problem resolution
• Create approval, permit, and installation drawings using AutoCAD
• Obtain quotes from vendors and issue purchase orders
• Monitor project schedules, engineering time, and materials cost across execution and quote phases
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure solutions fit system constraints
• Travel up to 20% for site measurements, commissioning, and customer interfacing
• Participate in continuous improvement projects
• Assist in quoting and proposal development with the Direct Amazon Account Manager for aftermarket opportunities
• Estimate project costs and support sales visits and site surveys

Requirements

• Bachelor in Engineering (minimum)
• Minimum 4 years of material handling experience
• AutoCAD proficiency
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
• Ability to manage intermediate-sized projects with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of material handling industry and cross-team collaboration
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Problem-solving and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Willingness to learn new technology
