About the role
Job Overview
We are seeking a full‑time 360 Agency Recruiter based in South Africa to source and place accountants across Australia and New Zealand. The candidate will run an independent desk, manage client relationships, and deliver high‑quality candidates to our agency.
Responsibilities
- Dealing with clients and candidates (cold/warm calling clients and candidates)
- Talent sourcing of prospective candidates from websites, Linked In, internal databases, and market mapping
- Interviewing candidates, formatting resumes, writing summaries for clients, and doing reference checks
- Develop the right sourcing strategy to fulfil open positions
- Plan and execute targeted talent nurturing programs
- Attend to general inquiries, screen and shortlist potential candidates
- Keeping regular contact with current and prospective talent and following up for future positions
- Understand trends in the marketplace and industry that present recruiting opportunities for the business
- Update CRM and databases
- Daily/Weekly recruitment progress reporting
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience recruiting in an agency environment with Western clients and candidates (US/AU/NZ/CA/UK/UAE/SG) – ideally in white‑collar space, proven cold‑calling experience.
- Prepared to work hard, enjoy life while making great money

- High level of Attention to Detail and very organised and conscientious.

- Accounting, B2B, or Corporate background is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in the English language (10/10) – written, speaking and reading.
- Available for at least 40 hours per week (Mon‑Fri) across Australia/NZ/US/Asia, and understands that agency recruitment is not a 9‑5 role.
- Own desktop/laptop/monitor with reliable high‑speed internet.
- Can‑do attitude, result‑driven.
- Works autonomously with minimal supervision.
- High integrity; trustworthiness critical – any lie results in dismissal.
- Excellent computer literacy skills and proficiency in sourcing tools like Linked In, Boolean, job boards and proven AI skills.
Red Flags – Not Suitable
- No solid corporate experience (never worked in an office environment).
- No stable job history (at least 3–5+ years in most roles).
- Afraid of working hard continuously; role requires discipline and long hours.
- Afraid of picking up the phone and speaking to strangers daily.
- Not willing to commit 3–5 years to this role.
- Not coachable and intelligent; training provided.
- Not a team player.
- Not committed to success; lacks drive; other priorities distract.
- Not honest & trustworthy.
- Very social person needing others physically around; struggles working from home.
- Too many obligations; cannot commit to demanding role.
- Not structured, disciplined or self‑driven; cannot plan daily/weekly and keep track.
- Not tech savvy; cannot use social media, Boolean, AI, research tools.
- Gets too frazzled when things happen; cannot problem‑solve.
- Not intelligent emotionally or intellectually.
