Project Manager – Nursery Operations (Agriculture)

We’re seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead large‑scale nursery operation. This pivotal role ensures smooth staff planning, efficient task execution, and high‑quality production outcomes. Working closely with the Nursery, Greenhouse, and Operations Managers, you’ll align resources with operational goals and drive productivity across the team.

Key Responsibilities • Manage and motivate a large staff workforce, ensuring effective recruitment, scheduling, and performance monitoring. • Implement central planning tools to forecast labour needs and ensure tasks are completed on time and to specification. • Uphold workplace health and safety standards, deliver training, and manage disciplinary processes in partnership with HR. • Introduce strategies, benchmarks, and incentives to optimize operations and drive continuous improvement. • Provide regular updates on progress, staffing, and productivity to senior management. • Design training programs for supervisors and staff, ensuring adherence to standards and SOPs. • Mentor and develop supervisors to strengthen leadership, discipline, and communication skills.

Requirements • Relevant qualification • Advanced Project management skills • Experience in large‑scale staff management project management operation. • Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication and leadership abilities. • Advanced MS Excel

Pay: R30 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month

Experience: • Nursery operations: 1 year (Preferred) • Project Management: 2 years (Preferred)
