Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from field and lab experiments using statistical software to draw meaningful conclusions.

  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in agricultural science, biotechnology, and sustainable farming practices.
  • Prepare detailed research reports, technical publications, and presentations for scientific conferences and stakeholders.

  • Contribute to grant writing and secure funding for new research initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Biology, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of research experience in crop science, with a proven track record of successful project management.
  • Expertise in experimental design, statistical analysis (e.g., R, SAS), and data interpretation.
  • Hands‑on experience with field plot management, laboratory techniques, and greenhouse research.
  • Knowledge of plant breeding principles, genetics, and molecular biology is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with sustainable agriculture practices and climate‑smart agriculture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to publish research findings.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to field sites as needed.
