As an AI Architect, you know how to leverage industry‑standard tools to help organizations manage their data assets. We’re looking for an experienced AI Architect like you to deliver leading‑edge solutions for national security.

As an AI Architect on our team, you’ll use your technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for Service Oriented Architecture, Event‑Driven Architecture, virtualization, big data analytics, and cloud computing. You’ll resolve routine data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments.

Responsibilities

• Design data architecture solutions for SOA, event‑driven architecture, virtualization, big data analytics, and cloud computing.
• Resolve routine data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams.
• Work with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments.
• Lead technological innovation and establish processes to support mission objectives.

Requirements (You Have)

• 10+ years of experience implementing enterprise IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• 4+ years of experience with AI and data science using Python programming and big data technologies (e.g., Hive, Q, Bedrock, PySpark, Synapse, Databricks).
• Experience with the Amazon AI product tool suite, SageMaker Studio, and Bedrock.
• Experience architecting and implementing highly available, scalable, and resilient FedRAMP enterprise cloud environments.
• Experience leading architecture, platform engineering, and development teams on enterprise cloud engagements.
• Knowledge of big data solutions and data migration technologies and processes.
• Ability to deploy production applications to an AWS cloud environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice If You Have)

• Experience providing technical guidance to architects and engineers.
• Experience training large language models (LLMs).
• Experience working in GCP or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud‑based solutions, network architecture, and security principles.
• Security, Cloud, or Software Development certifications, including AI, ML, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, or NLP certifications.

Vetting

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD), based on location, education, experience, and other factors.

Work Model

• Remote: May still require occasional in‑person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid: Expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently and may need to visit a customer facility.
• Onsite: Primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility with direct collaboration as required.
