This is a rare opportunity to build the AI automation for a hardware startup from 0 to 1. You will develop AI automation systems as part of our manufacturing OS. You will sit at the intersection of electrical design, data architecture, and software automation. Vetaion GmbH is a startup building a fully automated production facility for control cabinets in Munich. We leverage advanced software and digital twins to automate manufacturing processes and maximize efficiency. To drive this transformation, we are developing our own proprietary operating system to orchestrate and control our production lines.

Tasks

First 6 months

• Month 1 (Onboarding): You will focus fully on learning EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel. You’ll become ready to perform day-to-day tasks on customer projects.
• Months 2–3 (Deepen knowledge): You will dive into component databases, 3D macros, electrical design constraints and data architecture to prepare for AI automation.
• Months 4–6 (Automation): You will start building automations. Working with our software engineers, you will develop AI skills to automate repetitive design steps.

Build the AI automation system from 0 to 1 for creating a digital production model. You bring AI into a high-demand, low-supply skill of the electric industry.

Requirements

• Technical Background: You have a degree in engineering, science, software engineering or technical business (e.g., TUM BWL). Or you show similar qualifications through other outstanding achievements.
• Builder's Mindset: You love building in any form and you have "touched code" before, e.g. using AI‑coding tools.
• End-to-End Capability: You see tasks through to the end without every step being defined for you. If you don’t know the answer, you will find it.
• Problem‑Obsessed: You view technical bottlenecks as puzzles to be solved rather than reasons to stop. "No" is not an option for you.
• Junior role: You are a recent graduate or have 1‑2 years of experience.
