Your Responsibilities

• You develop performant backend services in cloud environments for our Conversational AI and Custom AI projects.
• You design and implement scalable APIs and microservices as the backbone of modern applications.
• You seamlessly integrate AI and LLM services into productive customer solutions.
• You conceptualize and realize event-driven architectures for responsive and decoupled systems.
• You actively drive the continuous further development of our cloud and AI architecture.
• You are responsible for ensuring code quality, security, and optimal performance throughout the entire lifecycle.
• You apply AI methods such as RAG, Prompt Engineering, and Agentic AI to realize complex logic.
• You use AI Assisted Coding and develop specification-based workflows.

Our Tech Stack

We work on a project basis and choose the tool that best meets our customers' requirements.

• Programming Languages: TypeScript, Java, or Python
• Frameworks: NestJS/Node.js, Spring/Quarkus, FastAPI
• Databases: RDBMS/SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL), NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB), and Key-Value Stores (e.g., Redis)
• APIs & Protocols: API Gateways, REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI, WebSockets, and Webhooks
• Architectures: Serverless and Microservice topologies, as well as CQRS and Event Sourcing-based platforms
• Cloud Technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP, and their managed services
• Tools: Git, Deployment Frameworks, and IaC Tooling (Serverless Framework, terraform)
• AI & Data Ecosystem: Providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI), AI Coding Assistants (Claude Pro, Gemini Code Assist, Codex)

Nice, but not a must: NLP / NLU / ML Frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pandas, TensorFlow, spaCy etc.

Your Profile

• You have several years of professional or project experience in backend development and know exactly what is important for productive systems.
• You are proficient in our tech stack – especially in TypeScript, Java, or Python – and have successfully completed several projects.
• You are confident in the critical, reflective use of AI Coding Assistants like Claude Pro, Gemini Code Assist, or Codex.
• You possess in-depth know-how in the design, specification, and implementation of API-centric architectures.
• You are fascinated by working with cloud service providers and confidently use their managed services for scaling your solutions.
• You have solid database knowledge (SQL/NoSQL).
• You are eager to not only understand the possibilities of Generative AI and LLMs but also to translate them into real business value.
• You communicate fluently in German and English.

Your Work Location

Naturally, we offer a modern workplace, flexible working hours and locations, and the possibility to work from home. You can work fully remote or optionally in our sensational Hageloft in Osnabrück or at our Future of Voice location in Berlin. For important meetings, you should be on-site in Osnabrück or Berlin for one to two days about once a month.
