Key Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy and develop product roadmap for the AI Connect portfolio, aligning with company goals and market demands.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and positioning for Strategic Connectivity products (IDS, L3VPN, Ethernet, Cloud Fabric).
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, pricing, and operations to develop and execute comprehensive go‑to‑market plans, product positioning, and successful launches while reducing time‑to‑market for new features.
  • Define, articulate, track, and report product metrics to product, marketing, finance, and sales teams periodically.
  • Understand drivers of next‑generation network and security needs; work closely with engineering and network teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end product lifecycle from ideation through design, feature prioritization, development, testing, launch, and post‑launch management.
  • Utilize Agile or similar frameworks to ensure iterative progress on product features and functionality.
  • Increase customer acquisition and retention rates through strong adoption of AI Connect and Programmability offerings.
  • Define performance service‑level agreements (SLAs) and ensure product performance and availability meet required standards.
  • Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and lead cross‑functional teams (engineering, operations, marketing, sales) to ensure alignment and successful execution of product strategy.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership and provide updates to executives on product performance and strategic direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience (work, military, or specialized training).
  • Experience understanding product development and management life cycles.
  • Technical and commercial understanding of the network business.
  • Strong strategic skills with the ability to identify, assess, and recommend key points; ability to structure business cases around a high‑level strategic vision.
  • Ability to articulate customer needs internally for translation into finished products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced presentation abilities, and experience delivering executive‑level presentations.
  • Ability to work both on a team and independently on multiple high‑priority projects.
  • Proven interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.

Work Location & Schedule

  • Hybrid role: work from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office (location set by manager).

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Product Manager position is responsible for leading the product strategy, lifecycle management, and go-to-market activities for Verizon’s AI Connect and Network Programmability service
  • Product Manager is expected to commercialize a product from an Idea, engaging several stakeholders internal and external to Verizon
  • The product manager will be defining the product vision and roadmap, conducting market research and competitive analysis, gathering customer requirements, collaborating with technical teams on development and delivery, and partnering with marketing and sales to drive adoption and revenue growth
