Our client is looking for an AI Data Engineer for a position in Cape Town and JHB.
Duties & Responsibilities • Data pipeline design and build • RAG implementation • Knowledge of Vector database management • Data transformation and validation • Data quality and governance enforcement • Integration with enterprise data systems
Desired Experience & Qualification • BSc Comp Sci/Information Systems or related • 3–6 years software engineering; AI integration experience preferred. • Strong Engineering Capability • Strong SQL and Python • ETL/ELT frameworks experience • Cloud data platforms (AWS or Azure) • Data governance understanding
