Introduction
Our client is looking for an AI Data Engineer for a position in Cape Town and JHB.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Data pipeline design and build
- RAG implementation
- Knowledge of Vector database management
- Data transformation and validation
- Data quality and governance enforcement
- Integration with enterprise data systems
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BSc Comp Sci/Information Systems or related
- 3–6 years software engineering; AI integration experience preferred.
- Strong Engineering Capability
- Strong SQL and Python
- ETL/ELT frameworks experience
- Cloud data platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Data governance understanding
