Salary & Compensation

• Salary Range: 94, (This range is based on a 35-hour work week and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.)
• Annual Bonus Target: 10% of base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance).

Note: Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc.

About the Role

We’re looking for an AI Developer II to join our growing team!

Responsibilities

• Promote data exploitation and deliver AI-based and machine learning solutions used by the different teams of the organization and by customers.
• Integrate a team with high visibility and which will offer you a wide array of challenges as part of projects involving speech recognition, image and data processing related to human behaviour, climate and geography, both in personal and commercial lines insurance.
• Help evolve AI-based and machine-learning software products, while working on models required by the organization’s systems.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or any combination of equivalent education and experience
• 5 years of experience in software development
• Proficiency with Python
• Excellent understanding of machine learning
• A developer passionate about artificial intelligence, able to interact with software engineers, data scientists and R&D teams
• An agent of change
• Adept at translating a business problem into a technology solution
• Comfortable working in complex environments that are constantly evolving and multidisciplinary team
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
