AI practitioner

Ready to turn AI ideas into real-world solutions? We’re looking for a hands-on AI practitioner who can help bring our client’s AI vision into production — from OCR and voice solutions to LLMs, agentic AI, and practical AI workflows.

About the job

• Implement and operate practical AI solutions in the areas of OCR, voice, and large language models (LLMs).
• Collaborate closely with internal employees to turn ideas and concepts such as Agentic AI, OCR portals, and AI workflows into working solutions.
• Support the development of scalable and practice-oriented AI use cases that can be integrated into day-to-day business operations.
• Guide the client’s team in the practical application of AI technologies and help build internal know-how through hands-on workshops.
• Share AI expertise in a way that enables employees to understand, use, and further develop implemented solutions independently.
• Optionally support presentations and client-facing talks to communicate AI capabilities and use cases to potential customers.
• Contribute to the setup, operation, and optimisation of AI environments on Linux-based systems.
• Work in a pragmatic, implementation-focused way together with the client’s employees, with a strong emphasis on execution rather than pure concept work.

Your profile

• Proven practical experience in building and operating AI solutions, especially in OCR, voice, and LLM-based systems.
• Strong understanding of how to translate AI ideas into working prototypes and productive workflows.
• Experience with workshops, coaching, or knowledge transfer for internal teams.
• Confident in explaining AI topics in a clear and practical way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ideally experienced in presenting AI topics and solutions to potential customers or external stakeholders.
• Strong Linux skills and confidence working in technical implementation environments.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and pragmatically.
• Fluent in German and/or English; additional languages are a plus.

• Start: flexible
• Duration: 3 -6 months with possibility for a long term contract
• Workload: 60%
• Location: Hybrid (initially somewhat more on-site in Bern, approx. one day per week; later approx. one day every two weeks)
• Salary: 40+ CHF/h
