AI Engineer

Einklang brings the electricity consumption of companies into harmony with sun and wind. We combine battery storage, dynamic tariffs, and intelligent control so that medium-sized companies can obtain electricity more independently and cheaply. We are building Einklang from the ground up as an AI-native company. This doesn't mean we use AI as a tool, but that AI is part of our way of working. From sales to technical design to processes that no one has thought of yet.

As an AI Engineer, you will look at what we do all day and automate everything that can be sensibly automated. You won't build prototypes that end up in a drawer, but workflows that our team uses from day one.

Responsibilities

• You identify automation potentials in all areas: Sales, Operations, technical design, and implement them.
• You build AI workflows and internal tools that make our processes noticeably faster and better.
• You integrate LLMs (Claude, GPT, etc.) into our existing systems: CRM, ERP, Einklang OS, internal databases.
• You develop agents that take over recurring tasks; from offer creation to data enrichment.
• You work closely with the entire team, understand the pain points, and prioritize by impact.
• You establish AI best practices in the company and enable colleagues to work with AI themselves.

Qualifications

• You have already built AI products or automations; whether during studies, in a side project, or on the job.
• You know tools like Claude, Cursor, n8n, Zapier or Make not just by name, you build with them.
• You are at home in Python (or TypeScript) and can connect APIs cleanly.
• You think in processes, not in features. You understand business problems before you write code.
• You are pragmatic: 80/20 is your default, perfect comes later.
• You speak fluent German and good English. We work in the German Mittelstand; the processes you automate live in German.
• Nice to have: Experience with energy, hardware/IoT, or in a B2B context.
