AI Engineer

AI Solution Development

l Design and develop AI-powered enterprise solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs).

l Build AI assistants, chatbots, and automation agents for corporate clients.

l Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for document and knowledge-based applications.

l Implement AI-driven automation workflows that interact with enterprise tools and APIs.

l Develop document intelligence solutions for analyzing contracts, reports, and business documents.

l Build knowledge-base AI systems that help organizations access internal information efficiently.

Product Development (AI Academy)

l Contribute to the development of AI tools, demo products, and prototypes used within the Netfocus AI Academy.

l Support the creation of practical AI projects for training programs.

l Develop learning use-cases, proof-of-concepts, and hands-on labs for students.

l Assist in designing AI modules for the academy curriculum.

AI Integration & Systems Engineering

l Integrate AI services into web applications, enterprise platforms, and business tools.

l Build APIs and microservices that expose AI functionality.

l Implement document ingestion pipelines and vector-based knowledge retrieval systems.

l Work with vector databases and embeddings for semantic search and contextual AI responses.

l Optimize AI outputs for accuracy, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Technical Pre-Sales Support

l Support the Business Development team in designing AI solutions for clients.

l Participate in client discovery sessions to identify automation opportunities.

l Develop technical proposals and proof-of-concepts for AI solutions.

l Provide technical demonstrations of AI capabilities to prospective clients.

Collaboration

l Work closely with software engineers, solution architects, and product teams.

l Debug logical failures in AI workflows and improve system reliability.

l Maintain code quality using version control and development best practices.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

l Strong Python programming skills

l Experience building applications using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.)

l Solid understanding of Prompt Engineering

l Experience implementing RAG architectures

l Experience building AI agents or tool-calling workflows

l Knowledge of embeddings and vector search

l Experience working with REST APIs and JSON

l Proficiency with Git version control

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

l Experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex

l Experience building APIs using FastAPI or Flask

l Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, etc.)

l Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis

l Experience using Docker and containerized deployments

l Understanding of ML model evaluation and fine-tuning

l Experience deploying AI applications in production environments

Education & Experience

l Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related field

l 2–5 years experience in AI development, machine learning, or backend engineering

l Demonstrated experience building AI-powered applications or automation systems
