AI Engineer

About

The AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy artificial intelligence solutions including Microsoft Copilot features within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

This role requires hands-on expertise in customizing AI-driven processes, integrating with Dynamics 365 (including Power Platform and Dataverse), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced automation and user experience enhancements.

The engineer will focus on solutions that elevate customer relationship management (CRM) and healthcare applications, particularly those supporting call center operations, ensuring intelligent automation, streamlined workflows, and enhanced patient or customer service quality within regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Custom AI Implementation: Architect, develop, and deploy custom AI models or algorithms tailored to unique client or business needs where out-of-the-box solutions are insufficient, ensuring seamless integration with Dynamics 365 and related systems.
• Prepare, process, and analyze data sources (from Dataverse, Power Platform, external VA systems) for AI solution enablement.
• Prototyping & POC: Collaborate with business and technical leads to translate requirements into proof-of-concept (POC) Copilot use cases. Demo, refine, and iterate solutions as needed.

Qualifications

• Experienced AI Engineer
• 3+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience (ideally within enterprise/cloud applications).
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure AI services: AI Builder, Azure Cognitive Services, Power Platform AI integrations.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 APIs and developing custom plugins/extensions.
• Strong Python and/or C# development skills (or other languages common to AI/automation).
• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), machine learning model deployment, and data engineering best practices.
• Experience with Agile Scrum delivery and working in cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with government (VA or similar) or healthcare-related data and compliance.
• Understanding of Power BI and integrating AI outputs into dashboards.
