AI Engineer - Full Stack AI Applications

Your role in the team

• You develop and implement AI-powered applications and ensure their reliable integration into production systems.

• You design and develop backend and frontend components for AI-based applications, particularly in the context of LLM and agentic systems.

• You integrate ML and LLM models into scalable software architectures and ensure stability, security, and performance in the production environment.

• You work closely with Data Science, MLOps, and other technical teams to translate prototypes into robust applications.

• You develop applications in the Azure environment and utilize existing platform components such as Databricks, CI/CD pipelines, and container solutions.

• You bring best practices of modern software development and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• You have already developed modern backend services, for example with Python, Go, or Node.js, as well as web frontends with React.

• You are familiar with cloud platforms and DevOps processes, ideally within the Microsoft Azure environment.

• You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and enjoy collaborating in interdisciplinary teams.

• Very good German skills as well as good English skills complete your profile.

Experience

• You have several years of experience in software development, ideally in the field of AI or data-driven applications.

• You have practical experience working with ML or LLM systems and understand fundamental concepts such as model integration, RAG, or embeddings.

Education

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable qualification.
