We are 5 Degrés Toulouse, a human-sized consulting agency specializing in digital products, based in Toulouse for three years. We support clients from various sectors, both B2B and B2C, through five practices covering the entire digital product creation chain: Product Management, Product Design, Product Development, Product Quality, and Product Data. We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our Product Data practice and work with one of our clients. Responsibilities

• Design and develop generative AI solutions and LLM-based applications, from POC to production.
• Industrialize data models and pipelines, ensuring quality, robustness, and maintainability.
• Work smoothly in pairs, sharing architectural choices and best practices.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to translate business needs into relevant technical solutions.
• Operate in AWS environments, using cloud AI and data services.
• Rigorously document work and clearly communicate progress and technical challenges.
• Operate in critical contexts, maintaining a high level of demand for quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science, with a real mastery of fundamentals.
• Proven experience in generative AI and LLM manipulation (fine-tuning, RAG, prompt engineering, etc.).
• Excellent command of Python and its associated data science ecosystem.
• Experience with AWS and its AI/ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock, or equivalents).
• Ability to industrialize: MLOps is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Experience with complex technical projects in critical environments (quality, security, performance).
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of business issues, beyond pure technique.
• Autonomy in work while being a true partner for the teams.
• Rigor in documentation, code quality, and reporting.
• Professional English required to evolve in an international context.
