AI-First Software Engineer (m/w/d)

About

We are looking for an AI-First Software Engineer (m/f/d) who uses Claude (or comparable models) as a central mechanism for software development, and who also brings enough classic programming craft to critically evaluate AI output.

Responsibilities

Your tasks:

• You use Claude (and comparable models) as a standard for code, tests, and documentation
• You translate business requirements into precise prompts and orchestrate complete solutions from them - APIs, services, integrations, automations
• You refine AI-generated code to production-ready standards: tests, security, maintainability, architecture
• You develop in C#, Go, or PHP/Symfony - depending on the context
• You build reusable prompt structures, workflows, and AI templates for our engineering and e-commerce use cases
• You work closely with business departments and regularly ship to production

Requirements

Skills you should bring:

• You have a completed degree in computer science, mathematics, or a comparable technical education
• You have at least 2 years of practical experience in software development, with a significant portion written by hand. You can distinguish good from bad code - because you've done it yourself
• You bring solid experience in at least one of our languages (C#, Go, PHP/Symfony)
• You have initial real project experience with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or comparable tools - not just with demo tutorials
• You have basic knowledge of software architecture, APIs, and relational databases (MySQL/MSSQL)
• You have experience with Docker and initial exposure to CI/CD
• You can critically evaluate AI output and fix problems in it yourself
• You speak fluent German (min. B2) and good English

Nice to have

• Experience in the e-commerce environment
• Exposure to Klaviyo, CDPs, Marketing Automation
• Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Camunda/BPMN, xUnit.net
