Programmer Analyst

About

Candidate will be involved in AI related research and development activities. This includes working closely with IT architects, ITBA Product teams, IT Infrastructure Operations, and Cyber Intelligence and Security teams to evaluate new tools and technologies, develop proof of value (POV) solutions, and implement AI solutions within private cloud environment. Provides technical consulting and/or leadership on complex projects. Serves as technical expert in one or more areas of applications systems analysis and programming. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs. Works company‑wide in multi‑platform environments, on multi‑project assignments. Acts as a project work team or group leader. Guides and advises less experienced Programmer Analysts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Generative AI solutions from a functional, technical, and risk standpoint
• Develop and implement Gen AI solutions to solve complex business problems and enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows
• Collaborate with architects to design, code, test, and deploy modular and scalable AI architectures
• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of AI solutions by following coding best practices and performing thorough testing and validation
• Lead and mentor less experienced programmers on complex projects
• Stay current with industry advancements and continuously seek opportunities to improve AI capabilities within the organization
• Build effective working relationships, make sound decisions, initiate action, and achieve results as a trusted advisor

Required Skills (Technical)

• Advanced proficiency in .NET, React, Angular, Python, and SQL development
• Advanced proficiency with SQL Server, Oracle, and experience working with NoSQL databases
• Advanced proficiency in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience developing Generative AI applications, including RAG architecture and model fine‑tuning; experience with Agentic AI is a plus
• Technical expertise in all aspects of application systems analysis and programming, with proven capability in creating detailed design documents
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets
• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Experience deploying AI solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to adapt to and apply rapidly changing technology to business needs; good understanding of IT security best practices across multiple disciplines
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple, competing projects/priorities while achieving targeted results
• Ability to maintain technical proficiency via self‑directed or formal training
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Project, Visio) and SharePoint

Experience Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in programming and systems analysis
• 3+ years of experience in GenAI or AI/ML application development
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps deploying cloud‑hosted solutions

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics

Compensation

• $60.00 – $66.00 per hour
