AI Platform Engineer

About the Role

The AI Platform Engineer is a hands-on technical leader driving the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of critical AI platform capabilities, including cutting-edge Generative and Agentic AI technologies. This role not only develops reusable patterns and technology architectures but also accelerates the adoption of next-generation platforms while simplifying processes and enhancing business value.

The Engineer collaborates closely with engineering managers and stakeholders to transform requirements into actionable technical roadmaps, leading a dedicated team with a strong emphasis on reliability, security-by-design, and an enhanced developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a cohesive AI platform, making key build-versus-buy decisions for components like Agent Engines, MCP Servers, AI-enabled Enterprise Search, and Agentic Orchestration.
• Conduct options analysis and provide estimates based on high-level requirements; set the technical direction for platform designs and technology architecture.
• Define and standardize best practices that facilitate product teams in moving from experimentation to production efficiently.
