About Huacaya

Huacaya is our on-premise platform for AI development and deployment. It enables secure and efficient hosting, training, and integration of AI models into applications such as chats or process automations. The platform covers the entire AI lifecycle and provides companies with a robust foundation for developing customized solutions for specific requirements. As part of our team, you will significantly contribute to the further development of Huacaya and shape innovative AI-based applications within projects.

Responsibilities

• The further development of Huacaya, our platform for AI development and deployment, is the focus of your work. The focus is on training, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models (LLMs).
• With expertise and creativity, you will develop and train specialized AI models in the areas of Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or numerical data analysis, tailored to customer needs.
• The integration and optimization of backend systems are part of your responsibilities. These systems extend Huacaya's functionalities, for example, in the areas of data management, model management, or process automation.
• Based on Huacaya, you will develop customized solutions that consider industry-specific requirements.
• An important part of your work is the analysis and preparation of data to create high-quality training sets for AI models.
• Together with clients and internal teams, you will work to understand technical requirements and develop suitable solutions.
• The creation of documentation, presentations, and technical reports will round off your contribution to projects and decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• A completed degree in (Applied) Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable field forms the basis for this position.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English enable you to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Approximately one year of relevant professional experience or two years as a working student in a similar environment is desirable.
• Experience in training and fine-tuning LLMs, as well as knowledge of frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, is advantageous.
• You bring knowledge in backend development, ideally with frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Technical skills in containerization and infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, SQL/NoSQL databases, and versioning tools complete your profile.
• An independent, solution-oriented way of working, as well as teamwork, are a matter of course for you. You can also communicate complex technical issues understandably.
