Oracle Health is looking for a skilled AI Platform Operations Engineer to guarantee the reliability, observability, and safety of our innovative AI agent platform and AI-enabled analytics workflows. This critical role is essential for the operational foundation of production AI systems and encompasses various aspects including monitoring, tracing, production evaluation, rollback controls, alerting, versioning, runtime diagnostics, and quality safeguards.

We seek a proactive engineer who possesses a strong engineering discipline in observability, operational tooling, and release safety, with a focus on applying these skills to modern AI and agent-based systems. Your work will be pivotal in maintaining trust in AI outputs and enabling scalable new capabilities across Oracle Health.

Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain observability, logging, tracing, and monitoring systems for AI agents, agent tools, and AI-powered analytics workflows.
  • Implement robust release, rollout, rollback, and versioning controls for models, prompts, tools, and configurations.
  • Design and support practices for production evaluation to identify regressions, silent failures, quality drift, and performance issues.
  • Contribute to data monitoring and reliability processes, covering detection of stalled processing, data gaps, freshness issues, schema drift, and anomalies.
  • Support incident response efforts, including triage, root-cause analysis, and operational reporting for AI and data reliability challenges.
  • Collaborate with architects and AI engineers to ensure systems are ready for production, measurable, and maintainable.
  • Implement monitoring controls for latency, throughput, and costs within AI-enabled systems.
  • Enforce operational safeguards, auditability, and controlled deployment practices for enterprise-level AI platforms.

Compensation Information

The hiring range for this role is from $79,200 to $178,100 per year, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
