Role Description

We are looking for a sharp engineer who uses AI as a force multiplier — not someone who codes everything from scratch, but someone who ships fast, breaks nothing, and keeps the system healthy. You will own the full product lifecycle: build, test, document, secure, and maintain. No team. High trust. Real ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• AI-assisted development
  Use Cursor, Claude, or equivalent AI tools to build features 3–5x faster than conventional coding. You should be generating, reviewing, and refining code — not writing it line by line.

• Automated testing & regression prevention
  Write and maintain automated test suites (PHPUnit / Pest) so every push to production is safe. Set up CI/CD pipelines that block broken code before it ships.

• Product ownership
  Translate business requirements from non-technical stakeholders into working features. Manage your own backlog, prioritise ruthlessly, and ship iteratively.

• Documentation (AI-generated, human-reviewed)
  Keep technical and user documentation up to date using AI tools. Every feature ships with docs. No undocumented behaviour in production.

• Security & code hygiene
  Run AI-assisted security scans, handle dependency updates, and ensure no sensitive data (API keys, PII) is exposed. Proactive, not reactive.

• Integrations & APIs
  Build and maintain integrations with Instagram Graph API, Google Workspace, email tools, and any other third-party services the business needs.

Must have

• 2+ years with Laravel
• Actively uses AI coding tools daily (Cursor, Copilot, Claude etc.)
• Has set up or worked with CI/CD pipelines
• Comfortable writing automated tests
• Can work independently without hand-holding
• Strong written communication in English

Good to have

• Experience with Instagram / Meta APIs
• Familiarity with Google Workspace APIs
• Prior experience in a startup or solo-dev setup
• Exposure to prompt engineering
• Basic understanding of data pipelines
• Has shipped a product end-to-end solo
