AI Product UX/UI Designer

What You'll Do

• Own visual and agentic UX design for Obin Platform
• Partner directly with the engineers and founding PMs/ engineers to translate fuzzy product ideas into concrete, shippable design.
• Dive deep and raise the bar on product use cases around Agentic UX by thinking in micro and macro levels across different financial domains
• Prototype quickly — in Claude Code, Framer or codebase — and use those prototypes to drive real-time conversations and decisions.
• Develop and evolve Obin AI's visual identity, design language, and reusable components.
• Bring an AI-first design workflow to the team: experiment with new tools, share what works, and help raise the bar for everyone.
• Riff. We expect you to bring ideas, push back, and help us see things we would have missed.

What We're Looking For

• Designers with 3+ years of experience with a strong background in product design.
• Based in NYC. This role is in-person hybrid; we want to be in the room together.
• Ability to quickly learn and dive into details of Agentic design with our world-class engineering team (from a product and design perspective)
• Genuinely AI-pilled: you use AI tools regularly in your workflow and have opinions about them. Bonus points for tools or workflows you have invented or hacked together.
• Sharp problem-solving instincts. You can move from "unclear problem" to "defensible direction" without a 12-step process.
• Some front-end fluency (HTML/CSS, basic React, or Framer code components).
• Comfortable working in ambiguity, iterating fast, and shipping in public.

Nice to Have

• Technical background in computer science
• Side projects, zines, weird internet artifacts — anything that suggests you make things because you can't not.
