Responsibilities

• Conducting original research in areas such as text generation, sentiment analysis, machine translation, question answering, and information extraction.
• Developing and implementing novel NLP algorithms and models using state-of-the-art machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Designing and executing experiments to evaluate the performance of NLP models.
• Analyzing large datasets to extract insights and identify patterns relevant to NLP tasks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate AI solutions into products.
• Staying abreast of the latest advancements and academic publications in NLP and related fields.
• Publishing research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
• Developing and maintaining robust, production-ready NLP code.
• Mentoring junior researchers and contributing to the knowledge sharing within the AI team.
• Presenting research results and technical proposals to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven track record of research and development in Natural Language Processing.
• Strong theoretical understanding and practical experience with deep learning models for NLP (e.g., Transformers, LSTMs, CNNs).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face).
• Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex research concepts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Demonstrated ability to publish in top AI/NLP venues is highly desirable.
