Our client is looking for an AI Software Engineer for a position in Cape Town and JHB.
Responsibilities
- Rapid prototyping of approved AI use cases
- Application and agent implementation
- API and enterprise system integration
- Deployment and release execution
- Monitoring and production support setup
- Performance optimisation
Requirements
- 3–6 years software engineering; AI integration experience preferred.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related
- Strong Engineering Capability
- Strong backend development capability (Python preferred)
- API and microservices experience
- Cloud-native development
- CI/CD and DevOps familiarity
- Understanding of LLM integration patterns
