AI Solutions Architect - Natural Language Processing

Our client is pioneering the future of artificial intelligence and is seeking a visionary AI Solutions Architect specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join their fully remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge NLP solutions that address complex business challenges and drive innovation across various industries. You will collaborate with a global team of AI researchers, data scientists, and software engineers to translate sophisticated machine learning models into scalable, production-ready applications. Responsibilities: Architect and design robust, scalable, and efficient NLP-based AI solutions, from concept to deployment. Lead the technical strategy for NLP projects, including model selection, data pipeline design, and integration with existing systems. Develop and implement best practices for NLP model development, training, evaluation, and deployment. Collaborate with data scientists to fine-tune and optimize large language models (LLMs) and other NLP algorithms for specific use cases. Work closely with engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into production environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. Conduct thorough research on emerging NLP trends, techniques, and technologies, and assess their applicability to business needs. Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and AI solution designs. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Communicate technical concepts and project status effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute to the development of reusable AI components and frameworks to accelerate future projects. Stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving field of AI and machine learning. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions, with a significant focus on NLP. Deep understanding of NLP concepts such as text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, topic modeling, question answering, and machine translation. Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services. Strong experience with various NLP model architectures, including recurrent neural networks (RNNs), convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and transformer-based models. Proven ability to design and manage large-scale data pipelines for NLP tasks. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly. Demonstrated experience in architecting solutions for distributed systems and microservices. A passion for innovation and a proactive approach to tackling challenging problems.
