Position Overview:

We are seeking an Automation Engineer / AI Systems Engineer to build and deploy automation workflows and AI-driven systems across the company. This role will work closely with the Director of AI & Automation to execute on the company-wide automation strategy.

This is a highly hands-on role focused on building, integrating, and optimizing workflows using tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, and AI platforms (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.).

The ideal candidate is a fast-moving builder who can take defined requirements and rapidly turn them into working systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Workflow Automation & Execution:

• Build and deploy automation workflows across departments
• Implement processes for onboarding, submittals, purchasing, and sales
• Maintain and optimize existing automations

System Integration:

• Connect systems including Salesforce, Teams, SharePoint, and external APIs
• Ensure data flows correctly between platforms
• Troubleshoot integration issues

AI Implementation:

• Integrate AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) into workflows
• Support development of AI agents and conversational workflows
• Assist in determining when to use AI vs rule-based logic

Salesforce & Platform Support:

• Work within Salesforce to support automation initiatives
• Assist in implementing workflows tied to CRM processes
• Support data integrity and system updates

Execution Speed & Iteration:

• Rapidly build and deploy solutions with minimal overhead
• Iterate based on feedback and performance
• Focus on delivering functional systems quickly

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in automation, systems integration, or software development
• Experience working with APIs and integrating multiple systems
• Strong understanding of workflow automation tools
• Ability to build and troubleshoot technical solutions independently

Preferred (Not Required but a Plus):

• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or UiPath
• Experience with Salesforce automation or integrations
• Experience with AI tools (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude)
• Experience with scripting (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
