Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will develop modern, production-ready AI and GenAI solutions for central Telco processes and bring innovative use cases from proof-of-concept into scalable, stable applications. We are looking for you in the DACH region with a flexible hybrid work model.

• Development of ML models and GenAI components (e.g., LLM workflows, RAG components, agent patterns)
• Design and optimization of retrieval architectures (embeddings, chunking, retrieval logic) including evaluation
• Integration of AI services via APIs into CRM, BSS, and OSS-related system landscapes
• Monitoring and continuous improvement of model quality, latency, costs, and drift
• Translation of business requirements into scalable AI workflows in close cooperation with business departments
• Ensuring stability, scalability, and maintainability of productive AI/ML services

What we're looking for

• Successfully completed studies, e.g., in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a comparable degree program
• Very good Python skills and experience with modern engineering standards (testing, APIs, Git workflows)
• Practical experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience with LLM APIs and building RAG architectures
• Know-how in API-based system integration
• Basic understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures (e.g., containers, observability)
• Experience with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Ray, as well as fine-tuning or adapter training of LLMs or embeddings
• Knowledge in the Telco environment (e.g., BSS/OSS, CRM, network KPIs)
