AI/ML Front-End Connector Co-op Student

Amphenol seeks a detail-oriented Engineering Co-op student in Markham to assist with front-end I/O connectors for AI and ML systems. This role offers invaluable experience across various engineering disciplines.

As a co-op student, you will work under the guidance of seasoned engineers, participating in the design and testing of front-end connectors integral to next-generation AI/ML platforms. This role promotes hands-on learning and real-world application of engineering concepts in high-speed connectivity. Ideal for students with a basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.

Key Responsibilities: • Assist in high-performance connector development • Conduct CAD modeling using SolidWorks or Creo • Support testing of electrical and mechanical properties • Maintain engineering documentation and reports • Help translate customer requirements into design specifics

Requirements: • Currently pursuing an Engineering degree • Completed at least 2nd or 3rd year preferred • Basic knowledge of electrical principles • Familiarity with SolidWorks, Creo, or simulation tools is a plus • Strong organizational skills and analytical mindset
