AI/ML Software Engineer

About the Role:

Join Strategic Solutions as an AI/ML Software Engineer and be at the forefront of innovative technology solutions. In this role, you'll leverage your skills in artificial intelligence and machine learning to develop cutting-edge applications that drive efficiency and insight.The ideal candidate will work across a variety of AI-driven initiatives, including (but not limited to):

• Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
• Chatbot development and optimization
• AI-enhanced reporting tools
• LLM-based agents for knowledge retrieval and research
• Translation, transcription, and redaction systems
• Document analysis and generation
• Agentic coding and intelligent data processing

Key Responsibilities:

System Design & Collaboration

• Design and develop software systems integrating AI/ML techniques
• Work within defined infrastructure, programming, and model constraints
• Contribute to technical decisions related to:
  • Data processing
  • Retrieval strategies
  • System integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define:
  • Agent architectures
  • Workflows
  • System design decisions
• Evaluate and determine appropriate approaches (LLM vs. non-LLM)

Testing, Evaluation & Quality Assurance

• Assist in designing and implementing testing and evaluation pipelines
• Develop unit and integration tests for AI-enabled systems
• Generate and leverage synthetic data for benchmarking
• Improve system performance across:
  • Accuracy
  • Latency
  • Cost efficiency

Deployment & Operations

• Support deployment of AI/ML applications in hybrid cloud environments
• Work with containerized applications to ensure reliable delivery
• Optimize systems for constrained environments (e.g., limited GPU resources)

General Responsibilities

• Deliver production-grade systems aligned with requirements
• Support iterative improvements of evolving tools
• Document system designs, workflows, and technical decisions
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements and apply them appropriately

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in:
  • Data science, machine learning, or applied AI development
  • Software engineering, system architecture, or web development
