Your Mission

Join the Industrial Quality Assurance team (15 people) as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer.

Your role in this organization will be twofold:

  • Accompany major site developments as a quality focal point for project managers to implement prevention tools.
  • Lead, participate in, and contribute to Engineering Office/Quality Assurance (QA)/Manufacturing Engineering (ME) networks and projects to develop Manufacturing Quality Assurance and thus ensure first-time-right industrial files.

You will interface with various site departments, primarily with ME (Project Managers, Preparation, Methods, Training), Program, Quality (Production, Tooling, Central, Production Organization Approval (POA) compliance). You will contribute to compliance with the "Industrialize and Produce First Elements" and "Manage Programs and Projects" processes.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and verify the proper execution of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Control Plan, Industrial Qualifications, etc.
  • Integrate quality requirements into projects during the product design, process design & layout, implementation, and validation file (pre-series) phases.
  • Interface POA Industrial Change.
  • Prepare the arrival of development in workshops (communication with operational teams).

Within the framework of Manufacturing Quality Assurance:

  • Eradicate systemic causes of quality deviations (Quick Safety Report (QSR) / Operational Surveillance Deviation / Audit Finding).
  • Develop a quality culture: work better with prevention tools (maturity of tool usage, feedback loop from field deviations).
  • Support/collaborate with ME departments in Quality processes.
  • Ensure an Operational Quality Data (OQD) industrial file by handling historical subjects and implementing ME surveillance (Right First Time).
  • Contribute to the site and Airbus Atlantic Key Strategic Indicator on Prevention.
  • Lead, participate in, and contribute to Engineering Office/QA/ME networks and projects.

Your Profile (What will make the difference)

  • You have significant experience in aeronautical production or support services.
  • You know the prevention tools: Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Surveillance Plans, Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • You are very comfortable with SAP and expert in using Excel (pivot tables, data analysis).
  • You enjoy dissecting numbers and facts to derive operational truth.
  • You can manage multiple files simultaneously without compromising follow-up quality.
  • You don't just find solutions; you know how to explain them and convince teams to adopt them.
  • You always seek to understand the "why" behind every flight data or reported incident.
  • Languages: French fluent and intermediate English (ability to read and write technical reports).

The Montoir-de-Bretagne Site

Montoir: The Airbus Atlantic site in Montoir-de-Bretagne, qualified as an integrator or final assembly line pre-assembly, assembles, equips, and tests fuselages for all Airbus aircraft except the A220 before final assembly. As a true Logistics Hub for Airbus Atlantic, the site delivers its "Major Component Assemblies" directly to the Airbus final assembly lines in Toulouse, Hamburg, Mobile, or Tianjin, by Beluga or ship.
